English Department

The Belen English Department is dedicated to improving our students' ability to think logically and express themselves clearly. Our teachers prepare students for distinguished achievement in college and for a richer, fuller life.

The English Department focuses on providing a strong grammatical foundation in the middle school and continues to review the grammar throughout the high school years in order to improve our students' communication skills. The high school curriculum increases social and ethical awareness by focusing on the study of the finest in classical and contemporary literature.
