Modern Languages Department

The Belen Modern Languages Department strives to enrich our students' lives by teaching them to understand other cultures and close any gaps created by misconception and prejudice. Belen graduates are expected to be fluent in more than one language.

The assimilation and comparison of the languages, literatures, cultures and customs of other countries enable our students to have a broader perspective of the world in which they live. A basic premise in order to be "men for others" is that a person communicate with his fellow human beings.
