Science Department

The Belen Science Department educates our students about the relationship that exists between man and science. Scientific literacy is needed by all members of our society because of our dependency on technology and scientific advances. In order to make effective decisions in personal, civic, and environmental affairs, we must have basic knowledge of the processes that regulate our existence.

The courses offered by the department provide instruction according to the level of achievement of the individual. Our students learn to apply the scientific method, discover, interpret, and appreciate scientific knowledge.
