BUILDING AND FACILITIES
The Belen Jesuit campus encompasses 33 acres. The main building houses the library, cafeteria, computer laboratories, technology center, classrooms, and recreational room. The Goizueta Athletic Center has two locker rooms, a weight room, a wrestling/tumbling room and two basketball courts. Adjacent to the gymnasium are the Gian Zumpano swimming pool and the playground. Ping-pong tables, toys, and table games are also available in the Central Patio.
Belen Jesuit has expanded and updated its facilities over the past years. Major projects include the Jesuit Residence, the Raul and Nidia Rodríguez Science Pavilion, the Ignatian Center for the Arts, the Carlos M. Barañano Technology Center, and the newly renovated athletic facilities. All outdoor athletic facilities have been redesigned - the de la Cruz Stadium, the brand new Sanchez turf field, a baseball complex, tennis courts, outdoor basketball courts, restroom facilities and a concession stand. Our baseball complex has two fields. The tennis facility has 4 tennis courts with a center court, and an outdoor pavilion for spectators. Adjacent to the tennis facility are the two outdoor basketball courts. The northwest lot is being transformed into a practice turf field thanks to the generosity of the Hernandez Family.
AWARDS & Newsletter
Each week there will be plenty of awards and prizes to motivate the children; such as Best Conduct Most Cooperative, Best Athlete, Swimming Promotions, Groups of the Week, Counselors of the Week, and more. Every Friday, a newsletter will available on our website www.belensummercamp.org. Please take a moment to read it, as it contains important camp information for the parents.
