The activities fee covers: standardized testing, a student identification card, lab fees, yearbook, guidance counseling, athletic facilities, library fees, student publications, student accident insurance and minimum purchase to Tombola raffle tickets. Additional expenses include books and uniforms.

Belen Jesuit Preparatory School utilizes the services of Smart Tuition for tuition payments. All families must be enrolled with Smart Tuition and have an account. If you have any questions on your account please contact Smart Tuition 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at (888) 868-8828.

Financial Assistance

Belen Jesuit Preparatory School makes financial assistance available to all students who attend the school regardless of race, color, creed, disability or national origin. The Financial Assistance Program takes the form of hardship assistance. Hardship assistance is determined based on financial need subsequent to the evaluation of the financial assistance application. Belen Jesuit does not award academic or athletic scholarships.

In order to apply for financial assistance, students must have already been admitted to Belen Jesuit and registered for the school year in which financial assistance is being requested. Applications will be available by March 2, 2020. Deadline for the Financial Assistance application is April 30, 2020.  Funds for financial assistance are limited. Priority will be given to current students.

Belen Jesuit Preparatory School was founded in 1854 in Havana, Cuba by Queen Isabel II of Spain.  The task of educating students was assigned to the priests and brothers of the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits), whose teaching tradition is synonymous with academic excellence and spiritual discipline.  In 1961, the new political regime of Cuba confiscated the School property and expelled the Jesuit faculty.  The School was re-established in Miami the same year, and over the next decade, continued to grow.  Today, Belen Jesuit sits on a 30-acre site in western Dade County, only minutes away from downtown Miami.
