CLOSE UP PROGRAMS
Close Up is a non-profit, nonpartisan organization that brings students face-to-face with American democracy in Washington, D.C. Since 1975, Belen Jesuit juniors and seniors have had the opportunity to take part in this unforgettable, week-long program. It's more than a tour—it's a hands-on civic learning experience. Our 8th graders also get a taste of D.C. through Close Up’s Founding of a Nation program, which Belen joined in 2016. This fast-paced trip brings history and government to life in a fun and interactive way.

Belen Jesuit 8th graders will be able to participate in Close Up’s middle school educational program, Founding of a Nation (FOAN). Information is sent to parents at the end of the school year with the criteria needed to attend. Additional information will be sent at the start of the new school year.Information for Close Up 2027 will be sent to students and parents in the first semester. |
