Open House - Session 1

Our Open House offers prospective families and students the opportunity to find out what makes Belen Jesuit the school of choice. Learn about our preparatory, honors, advanced placement, and AP Capstone curriculum, Project Lead the Way (PLTW), our 1:1 iPad program, religious formation, athletics, and student life. Tour our state of the art campus and facilities while interacting with our student ambassadors who will share with you what it’s like to be a wolverine and what it means to be a man for others.  You will also meet members of the administration, faculty, staff, and alumni who will be more than happy to share their experiences and answer any questions you may have.

Belen Jesuit Preparatory School was founded in 1854 in Havana, Cuba by Queen Isabel II of Spain.  The task of educating students was assigned to the priests and brothers of the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits), whose teaching tradition is synonymous with academic excellence and spiritual discipline.  In 1961, the new political regime of Cuba confiscated the School property and expelled the Jesuit faculty.  The School was re-established in Miami the same year, and over the next decade, continued to grow.  Today, Belen Jesuit sits on a 30-acre site in western Dade County, only minutes away from downtown Miami.
