Summer Camp 2022

We are excited to announce that the registration for the Belen Summer Camp will begin on March 7. The camp will run from June 20 to July 29 for boys and girls ages 4-14.

The special registration rate for the six-week program is $1,250 if paid before May 6th. Additionally, parents can select one of two three-week sessions. Supervised Camp activities will be from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  The camp will offer a wide variety of recreational, educational, and vocational activities. Our primary goal is to provide for the safety of your children this summer. In so doing, we will create a highly Christian and moral environment, conducive to learning, fun, and full of recreational activities.

The camp was established in 1984. Since then, thousands of children have spent their summers at Belen. With a capacity of over 850, the summer camp is amongst the largest in Miami-Dade County. Activities range from swimming lessons to ping pong to arts and crafts and so much more.

Belen Jesuit Preparatory School was founded in 1854 in Havana, Cuba by Queen Isabel II of Spain.  The task of educating students was assigned to the priests and brothers of the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits), whose teaching tradition is synonymous with academic excellence and spiritual discipline.  In 1961, the new political regime of Cuba confiscated the School property and expelled the Jesuit faculty.  The School was re-established in Miami the same year, and over the next decade, continued to grow.  Today, Belen Jesuit sits on a 30-acre site in western Dade County, only minutes away from downtown Miami.
