The Belen Summer Camp will run from June 15 to July 24 for girls and boys ages 4 to 14. Registration will open on Monday, February 23, 2026, at 8:00 a.m.
Our primary goal is to ensure the safety of your children this summer. We will provide a Christian and moral environment that encourages learning, fun, and recreational experiences.
Please note that the summer camp will be closed on Thursday, July 3, in observance of Independence Day.
The Belen Summer Camp is located at 500 SW 127 Avenue, Miami, FL 33184. The Summer Camp Office operates from February 23 to July 23, 2026. Email is the preferred method of communication: info@belensummercamp.org.
Administrative Staff
Now in its 43rd year, the program is directed by Mr. José Roca Jr. ‘13. Mr. Roca Jr. has worked at Belen Summer Camp for more than 15 years in nearly every capacity, from camp counselor to assistant director. Additionally, he works at Belen Jesuit as the Assistant Director of Mission and Formation, as well as the basketball and track and field coaches.
The Assistant Camp Directors are Ms. Eli Barquin, Ms. Mayda Cordero, Mr. Francisco Fernandez, and Ms. Rosa Prieto.
Supervised camp activities run from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The school grounds will open at 7:00 a.m. and close at 6:00 p.m.
There is no direct supervision before 8:30 a.m. or after 4:30 p.m. No child may remain on campus after 6:00 p.m. After 6:00 p.m., a late fee of $10.00 per camper, per 15 minutes, will be charged and must be paid in cash.
Each week, there will be plenty of awards and prizes to motivate the children, such as Best Conduct, Most Cooperative, Best Athlete, Swimming Awards, Groups of the Week, Counselors of the Week, and more.
The Belen Jesuit campus encompasses 34 acres and continues to grow with updated academic, athletic, and recreational spaces.
Roberto Surís Athletic Center: A three-story, nearly 60,000-square-foot facility featuring two workout rooms, a secondary gymnasium, a wrestling room, treadmills, ERG machines, golf simulators, locker rooms, and more.
José Milton Foundation Main Building: Home to the Ramón Guiteras Memorial Library, the Conde Media Center, the Sarría Family Dining Hall, technology labs, classrooms, and a recreational room.
Roberto C. Goizueta Innovation Center: The STEAM program occupies the second floor; the first floor includes two locker rooms and the main gymnasium.
Gian Zumpano Aquatic Center: Features an Olympic-size pool and sits beside the Arroyo Quad green space.
Outdoor Facilities: de la Cruz Stadium, Sanchez and Hernandez fields, and the newest addition, Maury Park, which includes two synthetic-turf baseball fields and a state-of-the-art indoor batting cage.

All personal items should be clearly labeled with the camper’s name. Campers must wear the Belen Summer Camp t-shirt daily. A bathing suit, towel, sandals, and sunblock are required each day.
Campers should not bring cell phones, video games, trading cards, or other personal items. Belen Jesuit is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged belongings.
Belen Jesuit Preparatory School was founded in 1854 in Havana, Cuba, by Queen Isabel II of Spain. The task of educating students was assigned to the priests and brothers of the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits), whose teaching tradition is synonymous with academic excellence and spiritual discipline. In 1961, the new political regime of Cuba confiscated the school's property and expelled the Jesuit faculty. The School was re-established in Miami the same year, and over the next decade, continued to grow. Today, Belen Jesuit is situated on a 34-acre site in western Dade County, just minutes away from downtown Miami.
