Rebound Week Schedule

Rebound Week is dedicated to showing school spirit and supporting our basketball team.
This year, Rebound Week leads into the 50th Anniversary of the Fr. Dorta-Duque SJ Memorial Tombola. The following are the themes for the week:
 
MONDAY, FEBRUARY 5- PAJAMA DAY
No cut off or sleeveless tees, joggers, or sweat pants. Onesie and pajama pants are permissible
 
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 6- TWIN TUESDAY
Come dressed the same as a friend in identical clothing
 
WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 7- WAY BACK WEDNESDAY
7:00 pm-- Mr. Wolverine Competition (Roca Theater) $5 at the door.
 
THURSDAY- FEBRUARY 8- JERSEY DAY
JV Basketball v. Miami Country Day at 6:00 p.m. (home)
Varsity Basketball v. Miami Country Day at 7:30 p.m. (home)
 
FRIDAY FEBRUARY 9- FIELD DAY
Come dressed in your PE uniform or any other Wolverine gear. Dismissal is at 12:30 p.m.
Tombola opens at 7:30 p.m.
 
Throughout the week the following items cannot be worn: joggers, sweat pants, shorts. If you do not wish to dress to theme, student must come dressed in regular school uniform.

Belen Jesuit Preparatory School was founded in 1854 in Havana, Cuba by Queen Isabel II of Spain.  The task of educating students was assigned to the priests and brothers of the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits), whose teaching tradition is synonymous with academic excellence and spiritual discipline.  In 1961, the new political regime of Cuba confiscated the School property and expelled the Jesuit faculty.  The School was re-established in Miami the same year, and over the next decade, continued to grow.  Today, Belen Jesuit sits on a 30-acre site in western Dade County, only minutes away from downtown Miami.
