What is the Belen Business Partner Program?

Rebeca Lowell | Event Coordinator
The Belen Jesuit Business Partner Program was developed by the Office of Advancement in 2014.  This program is a great way for your business to be showcased during the school year at our signature events and to be advertised in our school-wide community publications, while also supporting Belen and its annual endeavors.

Sponsorship levels vary and there are many opportunities for your company. Your business will be featured at key events such as the Gala, Fr. Dorta-Duque, SJ Memorial Tombola, and the Father Izquierdo Memorial Golf Tournament. In addition, your involvement in the program is considered a sponsorship, and a portion will be tax-deductible while supporting a worthy cause. We have been blessed with the continued support of many businesses throughout the years.

In a special way, we want to thank the 2020-2021 Business Partners for their support this academic year and Yvonne von der Osten whose steadfast leadership grew the program from its inception.

Belen Jesuit Preparatory School was founded in 1854 in Havana, Cuba, by Queen Isabel II of Spain.  The task of educating students was assigned to the priests and brothers of the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits), whose teaching tradition is synonymous with academic excellence and spiritual discipline.  In 1961, the new political regime of Cuba confiscated the school's property and expelled the Jesuit faculty.  The School was re-established in Miami the same year, and over the next decade, continued to grow. Today, Belen Jesuit is situated on a 34-acre site in western Dade County, just minutes away from downtown Miami.
