Belen Jesuit has educated young men in the tradition of St. Ignatius of Loyola, for the past 167 years. Our strong alumni association with over 7,500 members around the world, is a strong testament to what it means to be “a man for others.” The Annual Open House will take place on Saturday, September 18, 2021. The Open House is the perfect opportunity for you and your son to learn about all Belen has to offer. You will meet teachers, administrators, counselors, coaches, and alumni who will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.  They will share first-hand accounts of their experiences and what it means to be Jesuit educated. Registration for the Open House is now open for interested families. You may register online for either the morning or the afternoon session.

The admissions process is explained in detail on our website.  The application fee for Belen Jesuit is $75 per student. Once an application is completed, the Admissions Office will send prospective families the Test Event Code in order to register for the exam.

Belen Jesuit Preparatory School was founded in 1854 in Havana, Cuba by Queen Isabel II of Spain.  The task of educating students was assigned to the priests and brothers of the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits), whose teaching tradition is synonymous with academic excellence and spiritual discipline.  In 1961, the new political regime of Cuba confiscated the School property and expelled the Jesuit faculty.  The School was re-established in Miami the same year, and over the next decade, continued to grow.  Today, Belen Jesuit sits on a 30-acre site in western Dade County, only minutes away from downtown Miami.
