Battle Like A Wolverine Registration Opens
Registration for the annual Battle Like a Wolverine is now open! This family-friendly event will take place on Saturday, October 22, and will culminate our breast cancer awareness campaign.
Since it began in 2011, over $102,000 has been donated. During the school-wide campaign, students wear pink ties and participate in the annual run/walk/jog. Students will be allowed to wear the designated pink ties throughout the month of October. Pink ties are on sale in the Campus Store for $20. The ties can be purchased online or in person at the Campus Store.
Registration for the Battle Like A Wolverine is available at www.belenjesuit.org/battlelikeawolverine. The last day to register and be guaranteed a t-shirt is Friday, September 16. Online registration ends on Wednesday, October 19. Those wishing to support the cause but not participate in the event, can choose - Stay at Home.
The event will take place on the Belen Jesuit campus, beginning promptly at 8:30 a.m. The starting and finish line is at de la Cruz Stadium. Pre-registration is $30 and same-day registration is $40.
The net proceeds from the campaign will benefit our partner, Baptist Health South Florida. Together, we strive to provide mammograms for uninsured individuals and support the Care Coaches.

Belen Jesuit Preparatory School was founded in 1854 in Havana, Cuba by Queen Isabel II of Spain. The task of educating students was assigned to the priests and brothers of the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits), whose teaching tradition is synonymous with academic excellence and spiritual discipline. In 1961, the new political regime of Cuba confiscated the School property and expelled the Jesuit faculty. The School was re-established in Miami the same year, and over the next decade, continued to grow. Today, Belen Jesuit sits on a 30-acre site in western Dade County, only minutes away from downtown Miami.
