Belen is pleased to offer a Summer Athletic Program to all current and registered students. Be sure you have read and understand our policies and other key information before submitting your registration.   • Middle School Football Camp

    Middle School Football Camp

    Open To: Belen Students - Incoming 6th Grade & Rising 7th & 8th Grade Only
    Date/Time: June 10th to June 28th 2024
    7 am to 9 am Monday through Friday
    Cost: $425 (3 weeks), $350 (2 weeks) $300 (1 week)
    Capacity: 100 plus
    Description: This camp offers students the opportunity to make new friends while learning the basic skills of Belen football in a non-contact environment (Passing, Catching, Blocking, Tackling, etc).  Campers will also condition in preparation for the coming season. No cancellations or refunds will be granted once payment has been received.
  • Basketball Camp

    Open To: All Boys Ages 9 - 14 (does not have to be a Belen Student)
    Date/Time: July 29 to August 2 from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm
    Cost: $275.00

    Description: To provide quality instruction in all aspects of basketball with an emphasis on fundamentals and skill development.  We will strive to enhance each athlete's skills in an effort to better equip them for their short and long-term goals. No cancellations or refunds will be granted once payment has been received. 
  • Belen Soccer Camp

    Description: To provide quality instruction in all aspects of soccer: techniques, tactics, physical and psychological. Healthy snacks will be provided daily. Camp will take place on Hernandez Field. There will be no lunch available.  No cancellations or refunds will be granted once payment has been received. 
  • Crew Camp - High Performance Training

    Open To: Current and incoming Belen students from grades 6-11
    Time: June 10 to June 21 from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and July 17 to August 7 from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
    Cost: $850.00 (June 10-21) 
    Cost: $1,000 (July 17-August 7)
    Capacity: 50
    Description: This training program is the continuation of the Crew Season. To be successful and competitive in the sport of Crew, rowers must continually work out and likewise, complete practice in the water. The summer break, which lasts over 2½ months, is a long time to be away from the sport. As such, the High-Performance Training is a way to keep solid cardiovascular conditioning plus technical levels during part of the summer.

  • Wolverines Wrestling Camp

    Date/Time: July 1 to July 26 (Monday through Thursday) from 7:00 am to 9:00 am

  • Wolverine Basketball Club

    Open to: Incoming Belen 6th and current Belen students (should have an understanding and a foundation in basketball)
    Date/Time: June 2024 to July 2024 (Practices vary 2-3 times per week pending gym availability.)
    Cost: $180 each month or $70 weekly.

  • Summer STEAM Adventure Camp

    Open to: both boys and girls entering 2nd through 5th grade
    Date/Time: June 10 to June 14 from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm (after camp care is available until 6:00 pm for an additional $100.)
    Cost: $500 ($600 with after camp care)
    Capacity: 80 
    Description: This week-long camp is open to boys and girls entering 2nd through 5th grades. The Summer STEAM Adventure will take place in the Roberto C. Goizueta Innovation Center and incorporate television production. Each camper will receive a t-shirt and certificate of completion. Lunch and snacks will be provided. Campers need to bring a water bottle daily.

Belen Jesuit Preparatory School was founded in 1854 in Havana, Cuba by Queen Isabel II of Spain.  The task of educating students was assigned to the priests and brothers of the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits), whose teaching tradition is synonymous with academic excellence and spiritual discipline.  In 1961, the new political regime of Cuba confiscated the School property and expelled the Jesuit faculty.  The School was re-established in Miami the same year, and over the next decade, continued to grow.  Today, Belen Jesuit sits on a 30-acre site in western Dade County, only minutes away from downtown Miami.
