Belen Women’s Emmaus Retreat

Veronica Hart | Emmaus Leader
Give yourself the gift of a weekend filled with reflection, peace, and joy as you walk the road to Emmaus and experience God’s unconditional love.
Let your heart be filled with hope and rejuvenation by participating in this miraculous encounter.  For several years an Emmaus Retreat for women has been hosted by Belen. This year, on the weekend of December 9-11 mothers, grandmothers, and female relatives of Belen Jesuit students and alumni are invited to join us on this wonderful experience.

If you would like to deepen your faith and your personal relationship with the Lord, I encourage you to participate in this Emmaus weekend. Having your son at Belen is an indication of your desire to provide him with the best possible environment to grow as a committed and deeply religious man. I am sure that he would appreciate your participation in this retreat.

If you have already experienced an Emmaus retreat, we welcome you to become part of our serving community.

Belen Jesuit Preparatory School was founded in 1854 in Havana, Cuba, by Queen Isabel II of Spain.  The task of educating students was assigned to the priests and brothers of the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits), whose teaching tradition is synonymous with academic excellence and spiritual discipline.  In 1961, the new political regime of Cuba confiscated the school's property and expelled the Jesuit faculty.  The School was re-established in Miami the same year, and over the next decade, continued to grow. Today, Belen Jesuit is situated on a 34-acre site in western Dade County, just minutes away from downtown Miami.
