Remember Belen on ‘Give Miami Day’

Phil Fernandez | Executive Director of Advancement and Alumni Relations
We are blessed and very fortunate to have a devoted, supportive, and loving community who answers the call every time we ask for help of any kind.
As we get closer to the end of 2016, please remember Belen Jesuit in your end of the year donations. A great way to get things going is by supporting us on November 17.

Give Miami Day is one of the biggest annual giving events in the Southeast United States. This year, we will again be asking you to help us for 24 hours on November 17.  The goal is simple; raise as much as possible for our Annual Fund which provides the opportunity for many young men, for whom it would not have been economically possible, to receive the gift of a Belen Jesuit education. The Miami Foundation and their partners will maximize the community's generosity by making a bonus gift for every donation between $25 and $10,000 received on November 17 by clicking here

Thank you in advance for your generosity. Please help spread the word and share your donation on social media by using the #SupportingBelen #GiveMiamiDay

Belen Jesuit Preparatory School was founded in 1854 in Havana, Cuba, by Queen Isabel II of Spain.  The task of educating students was assigned to the priests and brothers of the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits), whose teaching tradition is synonymous with academic excellence and spiritual discipline.  In 1961, the new political regime of Cuba confiscated the school's property and expelled the Jesuit faculty.  The School was re-established in Miami the same year, and over the next decade, continued to grow. Today, Belen Jesuit is situated on a 34-acre site in western Dade County, just minutes away from downtown Miami.
