ADMISSION PROCESS

WHERE JESUIT VALUES SHAPE FUTURE LEADERS

Belen Jesuit is a school deeply rooted in Ignatian tradition and pedagogy. These traits set us apart from other schools and make Belen Jesuit an extraordinary college preparatory school.

Admission to Belen Jesuit is selective and limited to grades 6 and 9. All applicants must complete an online application for admission and take an entrance examination. Belen Jesuit admits students without regard to race, religion, color, national or ethnic origin. As a Catholic college preparatory school in the Jesuit tradition, Belen actively seeks a student body that reflects a broad and diverse range of abilities, talents, backgrounds, and interests.

ADMISSIONS CRITERIA

Belen Jesuit accommodates students with disabilities in accordance with federal and local laws. However, your child may not necessarily receive the types of accommodations or related services he may be entitled to receive at a public school, as public schools have different obligations under the IDEA. The IDEA does not apply to private schools. We are happy to have a conversation with you about the accommodations your son may need and those we may be able to provide at our school.

Admission is based on the following criteria:

  • Entrance Exam Scores
  • Current School Record
  • Previous Year’s Report Card
  • Latest Standardized Test Scores
  • Interview

Applications will not be reviewed until all required documentation has been uploaded to your son's file.
