SCHOOL COUNSELING
Rooted in Jesuit values and professional ethics, the School Counseling Department at Belen Jesuit offers a developmental program that supports the academic, emotional, and personal growth of each student—guided by the principle of cura personalis (care for the whole person).
Counselors help students navigate challenges and promote growth in academic, social, emotional, and behavioral areas. They do this through individual and group counseling, classroom presentations, family conferences, and collaboration with faculty and staff. When needed, counselors also provide referrals to outside professionals and coordinate special programs.
EACH COUNSELOR OFFERS A GRADE-SPECIFIC CURRICULUM THAT EVOLVES WITH STUDENT NEEDS, FOCUSING ON CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT, DECISION-MAKING, AND SELF-AWARENESS. |
The goal is to equip students with the emotional resilience and life skills necessary for long-term success. In times of crisis, counselors provide responsive support to help students overcome personal and academic obstacles with compassion and care.
SCHOOL COUNSELORS
The Counseling Department strives to strengthen our students' emotional skills, making them more adaptable and successful in achieving their future goals.
