COLLEGE COUNSELING

Belen Jesuit is committed to guiding students and families through every stage of the college search and admissions process. Our team of five full-time college counselors and an administrative assistant offers personalized guidance to help students identify colleges that align with their academic goals, spiritual values, and financial realities.

Beginning freshman year, each student is assigned a dedicated college counselor who remains with them through graduation. This enduring relationship builds trust and allows counselors to provide thoughtful, individualized support that adapts as each student grows in purpose and direction. To further support families, Belen offers evening workshops and informational sessions starting in freshman year.

Each year, more than 200 college representatives participate in our college fair, with over 150 visiting campus for small-group sessions. Sophomores, juniors, and seniors also take part in two annual college tours, giving them firsthand exposure to prospective schools and the discernment needed to make informed choices.

COLLEGE REPRESENTATIVE CAMPUS VISITS

Belen Jesuit Prep welcomes college representatives to campus in the fall during our high school FLEX. A visit time can be requested here through SCOIR.

Due to limited on-campus space and our students' academic schedules, we will be unable to accommodate all requests. Priority will be given to colleges and universities where three or more of our students have applied within the last five years.

Contact Mrs. Cristina Negrón at cnegron@belenjesuit.org with questions or request another visit time (if it can be accommodated).
