CATHOLIC ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAM

Launched in the 2022–23 academic year, the Catholic Entrepreneurship Program forms principled Catholic men who innovate with purpose, dream boldly, and lead with empathy and love in service to their communities.

Rooted in centuries of Catholic social teaching, the program instills in students a moral philosophy that informs every decision they make—both in business and in life. Its multi-layered approach combines:

  • A rigorous curriculum that equips students with practical business knowledge and the moral-ethical framework to navigate today’s complex world.
  • Experiential opportunities that cultivate creativity, problem-solving, and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Through this blend of faith, intellect, and action, Belen entrepreneurs are prepared to meet challenges, seize opportunities, and make a lasting impact—Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam, for the greater glory of God.

Clubs

Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA)
Belen Jesuit DECA is committed to developing the next generation of business leaders through a rigorous culture of competition, professional growth, and civic responsibility. Rooted in the Jesuit tradition of forming men for others, our chapter empowers students to pursue excellence in entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, and career development at the highest levels of scholastic competition. As we look ahead, our mission is to build a chapter defined not just by the accolades we earn, but by the character, discipline, and vision our members carry well beyond the classroom.

Finance Club
The Belen Finance Club is built around one core idea: every task needs data to back it up. Members will build real financial fluency through hands-on work with income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analysis, while also exploring fintech tools and the VC funding ecosystem. The goal is to put students in a position to confidently construct a data-backed business case, supported by the unit economics that actually drive decisions.

Business Business Lab
The Belen Business Lab is an incubator-style student organization where members work in cohorts to develop and pressure-test real business concepts using current tools, including AI, to research markets, model financials, and sharpen decision-making. Students engage with alumni mentors, apply VC evaluation frameworks, and build the operational knowledge behind pricing, legal considerations, and unit economics.

This program will interconnect entrepreneurship and business with our Catholic values. Being able to demonstrate to our young men that you can be a successful entrepreneur and still remain faithful to the Catholic Church teachings is essential. We are grateful to the members of the Belen community who will be dedicating time to this new venture.
