ALUMNI TOUR
BELEN ALUMNI, GET READY!
That’s the message Jesuit Father Guillermo “Willie” M. García-Tuñón ’87 wants you to hear. Fr. Willie—along with Alumni Association Executive Director Carlos Bravo '86 and Phil Fernandez ’94, Belen Jesuit’s Executive Director of Advancement and Alumni Relations—plan on hitting the road for a multi-city tour. The mission is simple: reconnect with alumni across the country, whether active or inactive, and share the exciting developments happening on campus.
In the early years of the Belen Alumni Association in Miami, Jesuit Father Juan M. Dorta-Duque ’40 traveled extensively to meet alumni, organizing reunions across the United States and even venturing to Europe and Latin America to strengthen the worldwide Belen network.
In that same spirit, Fr. Willie is following in Fr. Dorta’s footsteps.
Since taking office on January 15, 2016, I began developing a plan for the continued advancement of our school... A key part of that effort is traveling across the country to reconnect with my alumni brothers living outside Miami. I look forward to meeting more alumni and building meaningful bonds with each.
