CONDE MEDIA CENTER
The Conde Media Center is the creative heart of Belen Jesuit’s media and communications programs. It is home to the award-winning WBLN, the Echoes yearbook, and a variety of student-produced films and documentaries. The center is named in honor of Drs. María and César Conde, parents of César R. Conde ’91.
As a Belen alumnus, I am extremely proud and humbled to be able to give back to my alma mater in this way... Belen’s relentless commitment to excellence and serving others makes it one of the finest educational institutions in our country. The students, led by excellent teachers, are already producing quality and award-winning media. I am honored to support their talents and abilities as they continue to soar to new heights.

A LEGACY OF STORYTELLING AND EXCELLENCE
The English Department oversees the production of Echoes, Belen’s nationally recognized yearbook, as well as WBLN, the school’s award-winning broadcast news program that airs regularly on the WBLN YouTube channel.
Students in these programs are immersed in every facet of production—from writing and editing to filming and design—gaining real-world experience in journalism, storytelling, and digital media.
Through media and production classes, students also create original films and documentaries throughout the year, exploring topics that matter to them and showcasing their creative voice and technical skills.
Whether behind the camera, at the writer’s desk, or in the editing suite, Belen students are encouraged to tell stories that inspire, inform, and reflect the spirit of the school community.
