SPORTS HALL OF FAME

RECOGNIZING ATHLETIC ACHIEVEMENT AND CHARACTER

The Belen Alumni Association of Jesuit Schools from Cuba and Miami, together with Belen Jesuit, established the Belen Sports Hall of Fame in 2007. Honorees are selected for their athletic ability, sportsmanship, character, and the impact they made on their teams and on the sports they represented while at El Colegio de Belén, Belen Jesuit Preparatory School, El Colegio de Dolores, Sagua, Electromecánica, and Montserrat.

While athletic excellence is central to the selection process, achievements after graduation are also taken into account. Coaches are recognized for their coaching, managerial, or executive leadership, as well as their sportsmanship, character, and their lasting contributions to their organizations and the sports they served.
