The Humanities play an essential role in a Belen Jesuit education, shaping both the mind and the heart. Rooted in the Jesuit tradition, the arts invite students to explore the human experience, grow in empathy, and encounter truth through beauty.
Belen’s Performing Arts program brings this mission to life. Through theater, students engage stories of love, sacrifice, justice, and redemption—timeless themes that deepen their understanding of the world and their place in it.
Music is also a vital part of this experience. Our band students perform in concerts throughout the year, sharing their talents with the school community and beyond. These performances not only showcase their dedication and growth, but also reflect the power of music to inspire, connect, and elevate the spirit.
Together, the Humanities at Belen form students who are thoughtful, creative, and grounded—prepared to lead with both intellect and purpose.
