in 2027 Niche Rankings

For the 7th consecutive year, Niche has ranked Belen Jesuit Preparatory School with an A+ overall grade, #1 Best All-Boys High School in Florida, #1 Best All-Boys High School in the Miami Area, and #2 Best Catholic High School in Florida.
“These rankings only confirm what we already know: that by putting our Catholic-Jesuit identity first and having a dedicated team of faculty and staff, we are providing a top-notch, well-rounded education for all our students,” said Fr. The Best Private High Schools ranking considered 7,821 schools in 2027, and 5,869 received scores. Belen Jesuit Preparatory School is ranked 292nd of 4,672 private high schools nationally, placing it higher than 93% of ranked schools.

As per Niche, grades and rankings are calculated using a combination of trusted data sources, including the U.S. Department of Education, self-reported data submitted by schools, and reviews from real students and parents. For each ranking, a set of factors is selected, the data are processed and standardized, and weights are applied to calculate a final score for each school. Grades run from A+ to D- and are assigned based on how your school's score compares to all other schools in that ranking — not against a fixed scale. To receive a grade, your school needs data covering at least 50% of a ranking's factor weight. To earn a badge and numerical rank, that threshold rises to 80%.
